My friend has a 10-year old son that plays the drums, and he recently had a talent show at his school which I attended. He killed it, btw. Seeing him perform on a stage inspired me to create something different in a thank you card for kids.
The focal image is the cutest drummer I've ever seen. I think it can teach kids to send out thank you notes at a very young age. It's a custom card with their specific interest; they'll want to share with friends and family. I'll try to come up with other designs that will inspire kids to write mail, before they're allowed to get onto Facebook and sent notes that way. :)
THE COMMON SIZE CARD THAT I'VE BEEN MAKING IS A2 (4 1/4" X 5 1/2"), FOR THE MOST PART. I ALSO HAVE SMALLER CARDS THAT I'VE BEEN LIKING A LOT. I WILL HAVE MORE PHOTOS AND INFO ON THE SMALLER CARDS SOON (SIZE IS 4 BAR). RECENTLY, HOWEVER, I EXPERIMENTED WITH SOMETHING A BIT DIFFERENT TO ME. AN EASEL CARD WHICH I MADE AT 6" X 6". I MADE ONE FOR A BIRTHDAY CARD AND ANOTHER ONE FOR A MOTHER'S DAY CARD. HERE ARE PHOTOS OF THE MOTHER'S DAY CARD.
THE EASEL CARDS ARE FUN TO DO AND THEY ARE SOMETHING DIFFERENT FOR THE RECIPIENT TO RECEIVE.
